raaaaar necklace
I love these dinosaurs. Doesn't it look like she is screaming: "All of my clothes are too tight!" or "My hair is on fire!" That's how I was feeling the day I began working on this oh-so-fun piece.
I get my stampings from a company that is fourth generation, not quite as old as primordial ooze. The contrast between the rhinestone chain and the escaping dinosaur makes me smile. Add a big chunk of pyrite and a Herkimer quartz diamond and you've got yourself a necklace! I was cranky when I started making this and smirky when I finished. 18 inch copper bead chain, vintage swivel clasp. For more images visit my esty site.Purchase

Fly me to the Moon
I love the way the carved bird becomes part of the chain in this 18 inch necklace that features ranges of pinks, ambers, and nudes. A delicate chain of pyrite gives added sparkle, depth, and mystery. Reminiscent of Gustav Klimt, I was thrilled with the texture created by a crushed glass treatment. Neutral need not be boring! Glass ring frames a Herkimer diamond while a vintage cameo set in sterling dangles delicately while adding a pop of magenta. This necklace can dress up any outfit, or makes a casual artist's statement with your favorite pair of jeans.

alouette.jpg
Jumping through hoops, tightwire walking, and pop pop pops of color. 18 inch necklace features vintage glass cameos set in sterling silver, coral and sterling chain, citrine and vermeil chain, and Swarovski crystal and silverplated chain winding over around and through glass forms suspended by chains and hoops. Not the oh-so-cool swivel clasp on the large green cameo. I love the lightness of this piece, that it dances. (More images on my etsy page.)

Easy Green Necklace
I love this vintage carved glass cameo I found and set in a thin band of sterling silver. She is set among delicate ivory and absynth greens that are reminiscent of the first signs of spring. I incorporated green freshwater pearls and a vintage rose, along with strands of freshwater pearls and peridot. There is something hopeful, happy, and calm in the expression of the cameo's face that fits the feel of the rest of this piece.
